You chose your starter, now what? Once you choose your starter, you will be in the "Lobby" building. I recommend to mark this location. To mark the location, click "J" on your keyboard. It will bring up your Journeymap. Then click on the bottom left icon on your screen (looks like a diamond). This will bring up your waypoints menu. Here you can add, delete and teleport to marked waypoints. Next, bring up your main menu, click on "Options" and then "Resource Packs". This will bring up the servers texture packs. Move over the two listed texture packs: "GoEeveePaletteRP and GoEeveeWorldRP". Make sure they are on the top of the list. Click "Done" and it will load the textures. Next you will want to turn on your map icons (if not on already). This way you can see pictures of the Pokémon on your mini-map. To do this, press the "J" button on your keyboard to bring up your map. Next click on the options button on the bottom bar. Then click on either "Mini-Map Preset 1 (for the round mini-map)" or "Mini-Map Preset 2 (for the rectangle mini-map)". Scroll down and set "Mob Display" and "Player Display" markers to "Icons". Click close and you're good to go. Pokémon should now show up on your mini-map as icons.
